Due to the loss of the Arabic language, Arabic identity began to fade away day by day. Therefore, I wanted to spot the light on this problem in “Calligraphy Hub” that will take place in Manarat Al Saadiyat in the Art Studio. My aim is to design a place where I can attract people’s attention to the beauty of their language in an artistic way to make them believe we’re beautiful with what we are, our origins and backgrounds. I want to create a space where people would be able to see, learn, experience, and enjoy. I aim to get the youth involved in saving their culture, history, and identity. By language and space, I will transform the communication of literal language to the communication of spatial elements through providing direct and indirect letterforms and its proportions. Calligraphy hub is a space that is designed based on the Arabic dot “Noqtaa” which is used to give each letter its own fixed proportions. The dot space has different heights and includes different programs that will take people from the origins of the Arabic language to calligraphy art. The space also includes an exhibition, adult and kids workshop areas, and a lounge. فقدت كثير من الدول العربية هويتها التي بدأت تتلاشى بسبب ضعف ممارسة لغتها الأم. لذلك، من خلال مشروعي الذي سيقام في منارة السعديات في الاستديو الفني أردت أن أسلط الضوء على هذه المشكلة. هدفي هو تصميم مكان يمكنني فيه جذب انتباه الناس إلى جمال لغتهم ليؤمنون بأنهم جميلون بأصولهم وتاريخهم. أريد إنشاء مكان يمكن للناس من خلاله رؤية هذا الفن وتعلمه والاستمتاع به. أهدف إلى إشراك الشباب في الحفاظ على ثقافتهم وهويتهم. ومن خلال اللغة والمساحة، سوف أقوم بتحويل اتصال اللغة إلى اتصال العناصر المكانية من خلال توفير أشكال حروف مباشرة وغير مباشرة وبصور نسبية. هو مساحة تم تصميمها على أساس شكل النقطة والتي تستخدم لإعطاء كل حرف قياساته الثابتة )الطول والعرض(. تحتوي مساحات ”Calligraphy Hub“ النقاط على ارتفاعات مختلفة وتتضمن برامج ستأخذ الناس من أصول اللغة العربية إلى فن الخط وتاريخه. يشمل المكان أيضًا معرضًا ومساحات خصصت كورش عمل للبالغين والأطفال وصالة للراحة تشمل مكتبة وكافيه.
