For my senior project idea, I chose to design a traditional spa for people with health issues and foreigners. The space is divided into five senses where each provided a special treatment that helps people to relax and heal. There will be a display area where it talks about different types of herbs and as you passed the reception people will be served with herbal tea from the tea bar. The more you explore into the place the more experience it will give you by walking on the warm sand, listening to the water fountain and smelling the herbal treatments from the first floor. Each closed room is facing the sea view outside, inside one of the rooms, there will be a yoga space which is separated by genders with two floors and giving them a reflective glass surface for privacy. The idea came from the UAE historical tower that is attached to it in which the plan took the circular size shape from it, round designs give harmony instead of harsh angles which is perfect for a spa.
