In my humble career in interior design, the natural environment around me has always been my passion, and my thoughts are being born from it.
In my childhood, I joined the Jiu-Jitsu school program, instilling in my core values and fruitfulness in sportsmanship. Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that is based on fundamental values like loyalty, justice, ethics, serenity, humility, self-confidence and respect. With support from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation was established in November 2012. I visited the Jiu-Jitsu building, the surrounded environment inspired me, specifically the Ghaf tree because it reflects the symbol of resilience in the desert.
As an interior designer, I was keen to provide an internal environment suitable for Jiu-Jitsu and relied on the external. I strongly believe the Jiu-Jitsu and the Ghaf tree are holding common values.
