Peace is found in nature and the simplest most beautiful creatures, horses. Horses are a significant symbol of our culture and our religion, and learning to love them and be with them is something most of us; the ones that had farms with stables grew up with. connections to the psychology of human and horse interaction defines how my space and its peculiarities exist. There are way too many boundaries that isolate us from horses and change the way we see them and treat them, which are meant to be disintegrated in order to create a union. A coalesce of how both humans and horses can coexist and share a space and its facilities equally; whilst pushing humans to the edge of their comfort by exaggerating the levels of comfort for the horses. The aim of this project is to shift the secluded activity of riding horses and nothing but that into a personal experience of unison. Such experience is meant to provoke ones’ sense of perception and awareness by demanding them to live between horses and adapt their senses to the presence of horses throughout their day. Unlike the obvious social impact the activity of horse riding communicates, which is the act of riding; my space is much more about the individual and self-challenge. The “horse” is the concept and the design itself, nothing else must disturb it, and efforts will be put in the surrounding environment and space in order to showcase that clearly.
